Crossing Jordan, an American crime drama series, was premiered on September 24, 2001 on the NBC Network. The show ran for six consecutive seasons and came to an end on May 16, 2007. The central character is Dr. Jordan Cavanaugh, a crime solving sexy as well as brilliant medical examiner. The rest of the cast includes- a group of Jordan’s co-workers; members of the Boston Medical Examiner’s office and the police detectives investigating the innumerous mind-twisting cases. Dr. Jordan’s retired police detective father, Max, also helps her in carrying out the investigations.
