Boston Legal, an American legal drama comedy, is a spin-off of the popular series ‘The Practice’. Series was premiered on October 3, 2004 on the ABC Network. It revolves around a group of shining but emotionally challenged attorneys working at the law firm of Crane, Poole and Schmidt. Boston Legal shows all the mind-twisting cases which those people handle on daily basis as a part of the most successful law firm in Boston. Among the major characters of series are Denny Crane, a rash, self-loving as well as brilliant attorney; Alan Shore, a man with all the oddities and is sometimes considered as unethical attorney for his questionable methods to deal with the cases. The firm is being run by Shirley Schmidt who is often seen handing the most baffling cases in Boston city. Among other important characters are, Carl Sack; Katie Lloyd, Lorraine Weller, Clarence Bell and Jerry Espenson etc. Boston Legal ran for five successful seasons before coming to an end in December 8, 2008.
